What is angelnet?

Angelnet or "Alys Room" is my personal website and passion project. It's a space made by me for me to simply have fun, experiment with code and share bits of my mind with likeminded people.

I called this website angelnet simply because I liked the sound of it (not everything needs a deeper meaning) and Alys Room because it serves as a virtual extension to my pink bedroom that I practically live in. In a way, it's a version of it that you, the viewer, can peep at.

Part of why this website was made is because I'm tired of how impersonal and sanitized everything became online to appeal to corporate. I come from a time where Myspace, Skyblog and later Tumblr were the norm and your profile was always customized to really be yours. A time where capitalism hadn't yet ruined the internet. I aim to recreate this sense of freedom.
